Bain Valley Fisheries Caravan Club site has pitches for 5 caravans. It is located 3 miles south of Woodhall Spa in the picturesque village of Tattershall Thorpe. Set in farmland, the 7 lakes are all man made from old quarry pits and can be up to 11ft deep. There is parking at peg on every lake providing good access for disabled anglers. Day and night fishing is available.

Petwood Caravan Park is a newly established touring park, open from April to the end of October, welcoming caravans, motorhomes and tents. The village centre is just a short walk from the park and there are a variety of interesting long and short distance walks from the site.

The tranquil setting offers 98 generous pitches, all with electric points, and several hard standings. There are two well appointed amenity blocks with laundry facilities and a small shop on site providing essential requirements.

Woodhall Country Park offers tranquil surroundings for caravanners and campers. Situated in wooded grounds you will be surrounded by wildlife in its natural habitat. Badgers, bats, birds and deer can all be seen here on the site. Lakes are available for fishing. Brand new facilities on the site offer excellent washrooms, hard standing emplacements ideal for caravans and grassy emplacements for tents.

Now a 5 star site, awarded by QIT (Quality in Tourism) on behalf of Visit England.

This is a smallish site split into 3 main camping areas with wooded areas ideal for bivvying/backwoods camping.

There is a toilet block with disabled facilities(soon to be finished), a small cabin and a campfire circle.
The cabin was completely rebuilt and refitted in 2009. A large cooker, gas fridge and water heater were fitted. Electricity is by way of a gas generator. Movable Stainless work surfaces and a large double sink top it off. There is also a log burner for those really cold winter camps. Tables and chairs are also provided.

The toilet block has been re-roofed and refitted and also has a hot water boiler. It has since undergone further transformation with the addition of a unisex disabled toilet(soon to be finished).

You will need to provide your own gas to run the appliances, gas boilers and generator.

Close by is Woodhall Spa itself (approx 1 mile) with some lovely little shops and 2 small supermarkets. The chip shop is highly recommended. There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool in Jubilee Park and the world famous Kinema in the Woods (cinema).

Just round the corner from the site is Ostlers Plantation which was originally part of RAF Woodhall. This is also an excellent walking area.

Local residents walk their dogs through the site but most stick to the roadway and often will not come if there is someone camping. They do clean up and are usually no bother.
If you bring a dog, please do clean up behind it.
