The Fairy Dog Mother caters for dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages. Services include puppy socialisation, basic obedience and advanced skill development, delivered through one-to-one sessions at clients’ homes or at various local venues, as appropriate. Online coaching is also available for remote support, offering flexibility for busy schedules or long-distance clients. Multiples of dogs from the same household can be accommodated, ensuring entire families benefit from consistent guidance.
Socialisation can be arranged if required at a local enrichment session.
Expertise & Qualifications the owner and lead trainer holds a Diploma in Canine Psychology (distinction) and a Diploma in Dog Training Skills & Techniques. Complemented by a City & Guilds teaching certificate, enhanced CRB clearance and Animal First Aider status, she brings a depth of knowledge to every session.
Sandy began training dogs officially in Derbyshire in 1979 at the age of 13 her mentor was Mr Chris Briggs.
As member 0032 of the Dog Training Industry Association and an associate member of Into Dogs, her commitment to ongoing professional development ensures clients receive care informed by the latest canine behaviour research.
