"One of the longest 9 hole courses in the country"

Built in 1992 and opened in 1993 Martin Moor Golf Course is a"Parkland Style" (Par 72) course set in 62 acres, with Greens built to the exacting USGA specification ensuring good quality play all year round.

The course is often described as a 'beginners and improvers course' but offers many challenges for the more accomplished golfer. Whilst having only 9 holes the course has 18 tees which ensure the 'back
nine' plays very differently from the 'front nine'.

From the white tees, the course measures 6,345 yards. Every hole provides its own particular challenge to players of all abilities, starting with the dilemma of 'laying up' or carrying the dyke (220yd) on the 1st and finishing with a gradual downhill (par 5 - 528 yards) from tee to green at the 18th. In between, the undulating fairways, dykes and ponds combine to present a very attractive layout much admired by members and visitors alike. Often, however, it is the early holes that are the key to a good score

The owners (the Roberts family) pride themselves on the warm friendly welcome - "we have no snobbery here, and our members include people from all walks of life" says Alan Roberts. There is no joining fee and memberships start at just £95 rising to£320 for full membership whilst green fees for visitors is just £7.00 for 9 holes & £10.00 for 18 holes. The dress code is relaxed - but no jeans on the course.

The RAF Coningsby Golf Club is situated on the B1192 between Coningsby village and Woodhall Spa, signposted RAF Woodhall.

The course is 5354yds Par 68, 9 holes played from 18 tees and is affiliated to the English Golf Union and the English Ladies Golf Association. Handicaps gained at the club are valid at all courses in the UK.
