This detached
home is set in a three-quarter-of-an-acre garden, in the corner
of a farmed field surrounded by acres of natural beauty, both wild
and cultivated. To the south is a four-acre wild garden, a disused
railway embankment, which is bounded on the east by a set-aside
field.
To
the west are the grassy banks of the river Witham. You can see
occasional traffic on the towpath road beyond the wide strip of
peaceful water, where the fishermen line up on Sundays during the
season.
May Cottage is set in a peaceful rural location on the outskirts of the village. It has its own entrance, parking and garden with countryside views.
The accommodation, which is comfortably furnished and sleeps a maximum of four, includes one double bedroom, sitting room with double sofa bed, shower room and kitchen/diner. Please see our website for more details
Open all year, we offer a non-smoking, twin room in a quiet and picturesque location approximately 2 miles from the centre of Woodhall Spa. The room is completely separate from our main dwelling with ample off-road parking. It has its’ own exclusive facilities that include full en-suite, a modern TV with integral DVD, CD player and a fridge for cold storage.

The
Vale is easy to find. From the roundabout at the crossroads as
you enter Woodhall Spa, drive up 'The Broadway' past the shops
and the church. The third turning to your right, opposite the golf
club car park is, Tarleton Avenue, and the double fronted white
facade of The Vale faces you across the far end, slightly to the
right.
A
classic Edwardian villa on three floors, it stands in about an
acre of mature gardens, featuring a lake stocked with trench, roach,
perch, a couple of wily old carp and a flotilla of ducks. There
is ample parking for four cars, but first let us welcome you and
show you your room.
On
the ground floor there is a self-contained bedroom en-suite with
its own kitchenette built into a new conservatory over looking
the lake.
Our
either two guest rooms are fully en-suite with lake views, also
the breakfast conservatory has lovely views of lake and ducks.
Guests are welcome to share our sitting room. All rooms are centrally
heated with hot drinks facilities and a television.
For
health and safety reasons, The Vale is a non-smoking establishment.
Recently refurbished fully furnished
and equipped, 2 bedroom 1st floor flat situated in central Woodhall
Spa. Attractive welcoming village provides visitors to take
part in a wide range of activities, swimming, cycling, walking, tennis,
bowls and golfing.
Golf is one of the major attractions and for the keen golfer the
Hotchkin Course (ranked 43rd World Golf Ranking) has tested many
top ranking golfers. It is also Headquarters to the English Golf
Union.
The Kinema in the Woods near the old Spa building, is well worth
a visit, with an original Compton Organ.
